Our History
A local workshop that tells a story
When you step through the door of our workshop, the choice of L'Escarène becomes clear. This authentic village, surrounded by tranquil hills, offers an ideal setting for manual work, precision, and respecting the time needed for quality. Here, the environment directly influences our creative process: slower, more attentive, more demanding.
In this workshop, we make every soap, every perfume, and every skincare product ourselves. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is hidden. Everything is visible, acknowledged, and explained. We are committed to complete transparency: the origin of the ingredients, the manufacturing methods, and the precise reasons behind each compositional choice.
Our production is local, entirely controlled, and responsibly conceived. This isn't a marketing ploy; it's a guiding principle. It's this consistency—between location, actions, and values—that truly makes the difference.
Nos engagements
SAVONICE s’engage dans des actions socioculturelles concrètes, en soutenant des causes solidaires comme Octobre Rose, et en affirmant une volonté claire : donner du sens à chaque produit au-delà de sa fonction.
Our commitment: natural, sustainable and transparent
Our commitment is clear and unwavering: to offer natural, sustainable, and transparent products, without compromise. Savonice manufactures locally in L'Escarène, at the heart of its workshop, where every step is carefully controlled and monitored. Ingredients are organic whenever possible, always traceable, and chosen for their genuine quality, not to follow a marketing trend. No controversial ingredients are used in our formulations. This choice is deliberate, demanding, and sometimes more expensive, but it is non-negotiable.
Transparency is an integral part of how we work. We explain what we do, how we do it, and with what materials. From the first ingredient to the finished product, production remains artisanal and entirely controlled, without opaque subcontracting or disguised industrial processes.
Our promise is simple: never sacrifice quality, naturalness, or ethics to go faster or produce more. Each creation tells an authentic story, that of our region, its heritage, and the meticulous work carried out in our workshop. Here, nothing is standardized; everything is designed to last.
Our artisanal expertise is based on a complete mastery of materials, techniques, and processes. Each creation is conceived, formulated, and manufactured in our workshop, without unnecessary automation or industrial shortcuts.
Our artisanal soap-making process relies on cold process saponification, a demanding yet uncompromising time-honored method. Our soaps are natural, vegan, and palm oil-free. This method preserves the integrity of the vegetable oils and naturally retains the glycerin produced during saponification. The result is a rich, nourishing soap that is kind to even the most sensitive skin. Here, gentleness isn't a marketing promise; it's a direct consequence of the process.
Perfumery holds a central place in our workshop. Here, we create home fragrances, unique scents, and bespoke olfactory signatures for both individuals and professionals. From blending with alcohol to chilling, including filtration and bottling, each step is carried out by hand. This meticulous work guarantees balanced, intense, and long-lasting scents, true to the original olfactory intention.
We also develop natural body care products, which we formulate or fragrance according to specific needs. Shampoos, shower gels, body mists, body lotions, plant oils, and scrubs are all made with a high degree of naturalness. The ingredients are selected without compromise, solely for their safety, effectiveness, and compatibility with the skin.
Finally, we support professionals in their white-label or private-label projects. Savonice is involved in the entire process: formulation, fragrance creation, packaging selection, regulatory compliance, and artisanal production. This comprehensive approach is based on rare expertise, at the crossroads of craftsmanship, scientific rigor, and field experience. Here, each project is treated as a unique creation, never as a mere standardized product.
